Psychology class enrollment is now open in Petro-Paul-Kamchatsky
Middle School No. 15 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is excited to announce its new offerings for the upcoming 2022-23 academic year, with a focus on humanities, pedagogy, and psychology. The school is now accepting enrolment for 9th and 10th grades.
For 9th graders, the school offers a pre-profile programme that includes courses such as "Step into Pedagogy" and "Psychology". These courses are designed to provide a solid foundation in these subjects, preparing students for their future academic and professional endeavours. In addition, 9th graders will participate in joint extracurricular activities with social partners like Kamchatka Pedagogical College, Kamchatka State University named after Vitus Bering, and School No. 36 named after N.N. Novograblyov. These activities aim to broaden students' horizons and provide them with valuable real-world experiences.
10th graders can expect a more in-depth study of literature and social sciences, as well as specialized subjects like Psychology and "IT in Pedagogy" practicals. The school also offers a course titled "Introduction to Specialty", which helps students to explore their interests and choose their future career path. Furthermore, 10th graders will study at KamSU, named after Vitus Bering, a renowned Russian explorer.
In addition, 11th graders at Middle School No. 15 will receive a certificate of qualification as a "Group Leader" upon graduation. This certificate recognises students' leadership skills and prepares them for roles of responsibility in their future education and careers.
Middle School No. 15 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky collaborates with local cultural institutions, sports clubs, and community organisations to offer a wide range of extracurricular activities for all students. These activities aim to foster a well-rounded education and encourage students to explore their interests outside of the classroom.
